Mackerels in white wine
For 4 servings as main course
As starter reduce quantities
— Mackerels: 8 small (or 4 big)
— Onions: 2
— Thyme (fresh if possible): 2 sprigs
— Bay laurel: 1 leaf
— Dry white wine: 25 cl
— Fine salt
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 200 °C (390 °F).
Peel and slice the onions.
Put the mackerels in a baking dish.
Cover them with onion rings.
Add thyme and bay leaf.
Add salt and pepper.
