— Apples: 1.5 kg
— Lemon: 1
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (360 °F), with a rotating heat if possible.
Peel about 1.5 kg of apples, remove the core and cut into wedges.
Wash them in water with the lemon juice.
Put them in a terrine and close with a lid.
Cook for 30 minutes...

At the end of the 30 min cooking, you might want to add a bit of very thinly chopped candied ginger.
